EU3D researchers explain the key takeaways from their research and compare in conversation with each other in these short videos. 

Watch the video recording of the policy dialogue 'Democratic Resilience in light of the 2024 EU elections' hosted by Bruegel. In the first panel EU3D researchers discussed the implications of EU3D research for democratic resilience. Their discussion was followed by a debate between the secretary generals of European Political Parties.

EU3D researchers gathered in Krakow for the 2-day concluding conference to present findings and discuss future avenues for research with members of the advisory board and invited guests. Klaus Welle delivered the keynote speech on challenges to democracy. 

EU3D researchers presented their findings about parliamentary debates and media narratives at the Future of Europe Debate organised by Bruegel. Magdalena Góra and Tiziano Zgaga discussed research from Work Package 5 and Giuseppe Porcaro and Martin Moland spoke about findings from Work Package 4. 

EU3D researcher Dirk Leuffen gave a lecture for the Studium Generale Lecture Series at the University of Konstanz on 21 November 2022.

The lecture was titled "Differenzierte Integration – Chance und Herausforderung für die Europäische Union" ("Differentiated Integration – chance and challenge for the European Union?"). 

John Erik Fossum (ARENA) participated in the panel "UK-EU relations in comparative perspective" at the Good Neighbours? The UK and Europe Conference that took place in London. The video below is the recording of the panel.

During the Bruegel Annual Meetings of 2022 a session was dedicated for the award ceremony of the essay competition: 2022 Year of Youth. Joana Jacinto, winner of the competition, presented her essay Inverting the pyramid: addressing the depopulation of the EU to Marion Finke, member of the cabinet of Dubravka Šuica, European Commissioner for Democracy and Demography. 

In cooperation with the European Parliamentary Research Service (EPRS) and the EP's Directorate-General for Communication, EU3D organised the seminar 'Democracy in Tomorrow's Europe' at the Jean Monnet House on 1-2. April 2022.

On 24-28 January 2022, Sciences Po Grenoble-UGA and PACTE organised an EU3D series of debates on the future of the European Union.

John Erik Fossum gives a presentation of the core objectives of the EU3D project in the DiCE webinar series. 

EU3D researchers Christopher Lord and Kalypso Nicolaïdis participated in the High-level Interdisciplinary Conference hosted by College of Europe on 29 January 2021. The conference aimed to foster a dialogue between European scholarship, policy-makers and civil society.

EU3D professors John Erik Fossum, Dirk Leuffen, Chris Lord, and Sabine Saurugger discussed differentiation and the future of Europa at the ACES Annual Conference.

In July 2020, Germany took over the presidency of the Council of the European Union. EU3D researcher Prof. Dirk Leuffen and MEP Andreas Schwab discussed the German presidency and the future of Europe. 

The digital event was organised by the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung and held in German.

John Erik Fossum was invited to speak at the annual seminar of the European Parliament Former Members Association in Brussels on 11 December. The event was recorded.

Sir Ivan Rogers, former UK ambassador to the EU held the first EU3D Future of Europe Lecture at the University of Oslo on 18 September 2019.
