EU3D kick off: Practical information

Here you will find information about conference venue, hotel, dinners and reimbursements for the EU3D kick off conference.

Participants will stay at two hotels in walking distance to LUISS Guido Carli. You have received information from the organisers at LUISS about which hotel you will be staying at. 

Hotel degli Aranci

The hotel degli Aranci is located at Via Barnaba Oriani, 11, 00197 Roma, a 900-meters walk from campus (10 min).

Hotel Hilton Garden Inn Rome Claridge

The hotel Hilton Garden Inn is located at Viale Liegi 62, 00198 Roma, a 400-meters walk from campus (5 min).


Conference venue: Aula Polivalente, Luiss University, Viale Romania 32

Panel debate venue: Aula Toti, Luiss University, Viale Romania 32

How to get to hotels 

From Fiumicino airport:
By train (Leonardo Express) to Roma Termini station (approximately 30 minutes), or by taxi (45 euros).

From Ciampino airport:
By bus from the airport to Roma Termini, or by taxi (35 euros).

From Roma Termini train station to hotels:
Bus 360 direction Muse to the stop Liegi/Ungheria (12 stops). You can buy bus tickets at vending machines at the train station, news-stands or convenience stores. Remember to stamp/validate your ticket on the bus. A taxi from Roma Termini to the hotels would cost approx. 12 euros.

How to get to LUISS

LUISS Guido Carli is within walking distance from both hotels.

Thursday 11 April

The dinner for all conference participants will take place at la Pariolina, Viale dei Parioli, 93, 00197 Roma at 20:00.

Friday 12 April

On Friday, there will be a dinner for members of the advisory board and Work Package leaders. The dinner will be at the faculty resturant at the LUISS Campus (Viale Romania) at 20:00. 


Project participants

Accommodation and conference meals will be covered directly by LUISS, while the travel costs are to be covered from your institution's EU3D budget.

Other external guests are asked to make personal arrangements with ARENA. 

Advisory board

Accommodation and conference meals will be arranged and covered by LUISS. Travel costs and local transportation will be reimbursed by LUISS after the conference. We therefore ask you to make your own travel arrangements as soon as possible.

Please make the travel arrangements in accordance with LUISS' travel policy.
